Not all adaptive choices are created equally–some make sense, and are necessary and even pleasurable to watch, like Rupert (pictured above with the eyepatch) taking on a vital role that he was not around to fulfill in the book. Others are…not so pleasant. Like how much the TV show adores Frank Randall.
